what will happen ????

What will happen if me and my love die tomorrow...?

you're leaving home again
i'll run right back to you...
you're breathing in again
the words they sell to you.
is this the end my friend?
just anoher night.
new year's round the bend
crash into me,i'll hold you tight.
walk through this wild,wild forest
i dont know your name
you dont know my weakness-so,
i'll treat you just the same
i'm not the same-no
they say you're dead and gone
the time passes by
and your memory lingers on...
but i live on through picturesque scenes
hanging on your flashing screens
lend me a name and i'll believe
things are what they seem to be.
and you're in my head all the time
i carry you through the darkest nights and hollow days
just lie with me,together on this earth
pretend to sleep and dream awake.

Under Seige

Here on the slopes of hills,
facing the dusk and the cannon of time
Close to the gardens of broken shadows,
We do what prisoners do,
And what the jobless do:
We cultivate hope.

***
A country preparing for dawn.
We grow less intelligent
For we closely watch the hour of victory:
No night in our night lit up by the shelling
Our enemies are watchful and light the light for us
In the darkness of cellars.

***

Here there is no "I".
Here Adam remembers the dust of his clay.

***

On the verge of death, he says:
I have no trace left to lose:
Free I am so close to my liberty.
My future lies in my own hand.
Soon I shall penetrate my life,
I shall be born free and parentless,
And as my name I shall choose azure letters...

***
You who stand in the doorway, come in,
Drink Arabic coffee with us
And you will sense that you are men like us
You who stand in the doorways of houses
Come out of our morning times,
We shall feel reassured to be
Men like you!

***

When the planes disappear, the white, white doves
Fly off and wash the cheeks of heaven
With unbound wings taking radiance back again, taking possession
Of the ether and of play. Higher, higher still, the white, white doves
Fly off. Ah, if only the sky
Were real [a man passing between two bombs said to me].

***

Cypresses behind the soldiers, minarets protecting
The sky from collapse.
Behind the hedge of steel
Soldiers piss
—under the watchful eye of a tank—
And the autumnal day ends its golden wandering in
A street as wide as a church after Sunday mass...

***

[To a killer] If you had contemplated the victim’s face
And thought it through, you would have remembered your mother in the
Gas chamber, you would have been freed from the reason for the rifle
And you would have changed your mind: this is not the way
to find one’s identity again.

***
The siege is a waiting period
Waiting on the tilted ladder in the middle of the storm.

***

Alone, we are alone as far down as the sediment
Were it not for the visits of the rainbows.

***

We have brothers behind this expanse.
Excellent brothers.
They love us.
They watch us and weep.
Then, in secret, they tell each other:
"Ah! if this siege had been declared..."
They do not finish their sentence:
"Don’t abandon us, don’t leave us."

***

Our losses: between two and eight martyrs each day.
And ten wounded.
And twenty homes.
And fifty olive trees...
Added to this the structural flaw that
Will arrive at the poem, the play, and the unfinished canvas.

***

A woman told the cloud: cover my beloved
For my clothing is drenched with his blood.

***

If you are not rain, my love
Be tree
Sated with fertility, be tree
If you are not tree, my love
Be stone
Saturated with humidity, be stone
If you are not stone, my love
Be moon
In the dream of the beloved woman, be moon
[So spoke a womanto her son at his funeral]

***

Oh watchmen! Are you not weary
Of lying in wait for the light in our salt
And of the incandescence of the rose in our wound
Are you not weary, oh watchmen?

***

A little of this absolute and blue infinity
Would be enough
To lighten the burden of these times
And to cleanse the mire of this place.

***

It is up to the soul to come down from its mount
And on its silken feet walk
By my side, hand in hand, like two longtime
Friends who share the ancient bread
And the antique glass of wine
May we walk this road together
And then our days will take different directions:
I, beyond nature, which in turn
Will choose to squat on a high-up rock.

***

On my rubble the shadow grows green,
And the wolf is dozing on the skin of my goat
He dreams as I do, as the angel does
That life is here...not over there.

***

In the state of siege, time becomes space
Transfixed in its eternity
In the state of siege, space becomes time
That has missed its yesterday and its tomorrow.

***

The martyr encircles me every time I live a new day
And questions me: Where were you? Take every word
You have given me back to the dictionaries
And relieve the sleepers from the echo’s buzz.

***

The martyr enlightens me: beyond the expanse
I did not look
For the virgins of immortality for I love life
On earth, amid fig trees and pines,
But I cannot reach it, and then, too, I took aim at it
With my last possession: the blood in the body of azure.

***

The martyr warned me: Do not believe their ululations
Believe my father when, weeping, he looks at my photograph
How did we trade roles, my son, how did you precede me.
I first, I the first one!

***

The martyr encircles me: my place and my crude furniture are all that I have changed.
I put a gazelle on my bed,
And a crescent of moon on my finger
To appease my sorrow.

***

The siege will last in order to convince us we must choose an enslavement that does no harm, in fullest liberty!

***

Resisting means assuring oneself of the heart’s health,
The health of the testicles and of your tenacious disease:
The disease of hope.

***

And in what remains of the dawn, I walk toward my exterior
And in what remains of the night, I hear the sound of footsteps inside me.

***

Greetings to the one who shares with me an attention to
The drunkenness of light, the light of the butterfly, in the
Blackness of this tunnel!

***

Greetings to the one who shares my glass with me
In the denseness of a night outflanking the two spaces:
Greetings to my apparition.

***

My friends are always preparing a farewell feast for me,
A soothing grave in the shade of oak trees
A marble epitaph of time
And always I anticipate them at the funeral:
Who then has died...who?

***

Writing is a puppy biting nothingnessWriting wounds without a trace of blood.

***

Our cups of coffee. Birds green treesIn the blue shade, the sun gambols from one wallTo another like a gazelleThe water in the clouds has the unlimited shape of what is left to usOf the sky. And other things of suspended memoriesReveal that this morning is powerful and splendid,And that we are the guests of eternity.

Your tears,
Your fears,
Seeping out of your pores.
Those once bright brown eyes,
Now dull and lifeless,
What ever happened to them?
Why did you change?

Why did you change for me?

Heart-Mind Relationship in the Holy Qur'an
By Dr Hassan Ali El-Najjar

Introduction
The Holy Qur’an refers to the heart as a processor of information, particularly concerning emotions. This reference to the heart as such attracts attention to the relationship between the mind and the heart. This article starts by listing down the verses that deal with the heart and explaining them, in order to sort out the mind-heart connection. Then, few academic articles about the subject will be reviewed in order to explore this relationship further, from a scientific perspective.

Verses mentioning the heart in the Holy Qur’an

Upon checking the Holy Qur’an index in Arabic,

[1] this author found that there were about 132 verses in which the heart was mentioned in singular and plural forms. Here are some of them. The following translations of the meanings of the verses are Yusuf Ali’s except those in parentheses, which are by this author.

Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted they would have broken away from about thee; so pass over (their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment).

(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-E-Imran (Chapter 3), Verse 159)

إِلَّا مَنۡ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلۡبٍ۬ سَلِيمٍ۬

But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart
(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Shu’ara (Chapter 26), Verse 89)

Conceal not evidence (and testimony); for whoever conceals it his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Baqara (Chapter 2), Verse 283)وَقَلۡبُهُ ۥ مُطۡمَٮِٕنُّۢ بِٱلۡإِيمَـٰنِ

lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Ahzab (Chapter 33), Verse 32)وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَہۡدِ قَلۡبَهُ

and if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Taghabun (Chapter 64), Verse 11)قَالَ أَوَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِن‌ۖ قَالَ بَلَىٰ وَلَـٰكِن لِّيَطۡمَٮِٕنَّ قَلۡبِى

"Dost thou not then believe?" He said: "Yea! but to satisfy my own understanding."(My translation: He said: Haven’t you believed yet? He (Ibrahim) said: “Yes,” but to assure my heart).(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Baqara (Chapter 2), Verse 260)

Those who believe, and whose hearts find (assurance, peace, and) satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find assurance, peace, and) satisfaction.(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Ra’ad (Chapter 13), Verse 28)

وَمَن يُعَظِّمۡ شَعَـٰٓٮِٕرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقۡوَى ٱلۡقُلُوبِand whoever holds in honour the Symbols of Allah, (in the sacrifice of animals), such (honour) should come truly from piety of heart.(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Hajj (Chapter 22), Verse 32)

Yusuf Ali’s translation:Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and mind) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts. This author’s translation:Do not travel throughout the Earth, which enables their hearts to reason, and enable their ears to hear? Truly it is not the eyes that become blind, but it is the hearts which are in the chests.(Yusuf Ali’s translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, Surat Al-Hajj (Chapter 22), Verse 46)

Meanings associated with the heart, according to the above verses

The above verses provide us with a number of meanings associated with the heart. These include severity and harshness in dealing with people, soundness, repentance, rivalry, sinfulness, faith, sickness and trouble, guidance, assurance and peace, love, fear, thankfulness for positive surroundings, and reasoning.Basically, the heart reacts notably to issues related to goodness and evil.

Exploring the relationship between the heart and the mind

Upon asking Yahoo search engine about the relationship between the heart and the mind, it gave me about 58,900,000 entries about the two terms, but not necessarily about the relationship between them. However, the relationship has been explored in many articles or works, as readers can find. Here are some information from few of them, by no means this is a survey or a review of the literature. The idea here is conveying to readers that the relationship between the mind and the heart has been studied and researched away from any references to the Holy Qur'an.

“While not all negative thoughts and feelings are bad for health, specific emotional states (mental), especially stress and depression, have now been linked to heart troubles of all kinds.

Evidence is overwhelming that the heart takes a beating after psychic trauma, but lesser insults may do us in as well. A bad marriage, an angry or abusive boss, a mugging in the park—all increase risk of heart disease, a bounty of evidence shows. Personality factors like extroversion and optimism can positively impact the cardiovascular system and the health of the heart, while anger and stress can damage the heart and the mind. Some forms of heart disease even trigger the same chemistry found in depression and stress.”

[2]“At HeartMath we’ve spent the last 15 years diligently studying the “heart” physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our researchers have been mapping the communication pathways between the heart, the brain and the rest of body while also studying the effects of positive emotions on health and performance. What we’ve learned is that the heart is the master controller in the human system capable of sending powerful, healing commands throughout the entire body. These signals from the heart have a dynamic impact on the nervous, hormonal and immune systems. They also influence brain function and have the ability to improve cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, psychological problems and more. In essence our old friend the heart may be the best healer of all.”

[3]“The key to harnessing the heart’s amazing power lies in our ability to consciously generate positive emotional states like appreciation, care and love. With stress increasing—personally, interpersonally and socially—many people have lost this ability only experiencing these regenerative emotions occasionally.”

[4]The relationship of our emotions and psyche (mind) to heart disease is intriguing. There is evidence linking cardiovascular and neuropsychiatric disorders and the possible mechanisms and pathophysiology of this association. There is also a possible role of using mood enhancing therapies (mainly antidepressants) and their safety in patients with cardiovascular disorders.

{5]“There is a plausible biological basis for the association between psychiatric morbidity (mind) and cardiovascular (heart) disease. Anxiety, panic disorder, and depression are common in patients with coronary heart disease and hypertension.”

6]ConclusionThere is a very close and a reactive relationship between the mind and the heart, particularly regarding the issues of emotions as well as issues related to good and evil.People with optimistic and good life style enjoy peace of the mind and calmness of the heart. However, pessimism and wrong doing may be associated with mental and cardiac disorders. Thus, basic good characteristics of love, appreciation, care, tolerance, sharing, understanding, helping others, and observing God’s teachings not only are rewarded in the hereafter but also bring peace of the mind and soundness of the heart during your life on Earth, making it better and more enjoyable.

About Sufism in Islam...

Narrated Abu Huraira: One day while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel (peace be upon him) came and asked, “What is faith?” Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, ‘Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection.” Then he further asked, “What is Islam?” Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.” Then he further asked, “What is Ihsan (perfection)?” Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.” Then he further asked, “When will the Hour be established?” Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.

1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then recited: “Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour–.” (31. 34) Then that man (Gabriel, peace be upon him) left and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “That was Gabriel (peace be upon him) who came to teach the people their religion.” Abu ‘Abdullah said: He (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) considered all that as a part of faith.

Sahih Bukhari volume 1, hadith 47

Narrated Abu Huraira: One day while Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting with the people, a man came to him walking and said, “O Allah’s Apostle. What is Belief?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Belief is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Apostles, and the meeting with Him, and to believe in the Resurrection.” The man asked, “O Allah’s Apostle. What is Islam?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “Islam is to worship Allah and not worship anything besides Him, to offer prayers perfectly, to pay the (compulsory) charity, i.e. Zakat, and to fast the month of Ramadan.” The man again asked, “O Allah’s Apostle. What is Ihsan (i.e. perfection or benevolence)?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not achieve this state of devotion, then (take it for granted that) Allah sees you.” The man further asked, “O Allah’s Apostle. When will the Hour be established?”

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “The one who is asked about it does not know more than the questioner does, but I will describe to you its portents. When the lady slave gives birth to her mistress, that will be of its portents; when the bare-footed naked people become the chiefs of the people, that will be of its portents. The Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah. Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs.” (31.34) Then the man left. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Call him back to me.” They went to call him back but could not see him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “That was Gabriel (peace be upon him) who came to teach the people their religion.”

Sahih Bukhari volume 6, hadith 300

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab: It is narrated on the authority of Yahya ibn Ya’mar that the first man who discussed Qadr (Divine Decree) in Basrah was Ma’bad al-Juhani. Humayd ibn AbdurRahman al-Himyari and I set out for Pilgrimage or for Umrah and said: Should it so happen that we come into contact with one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) we shall ask him about what is talked about Taqdir (Division Decree). Accidentally we came across Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab, while he was entering the mosque. My companion and I surrounded him. One of us (stood) on his right and the other stood on his left. I expected that my companion would authorize me to speak. I therefore said: AbuAbdurRahman! There have appeared some people in our land who recite the Holy Qur’an and pursue knowledge. And then after talking about their affairs, added: They (such people) claim that there is no such thing as Divine Decree and events are not predestined. He (Abdullah ibn Umar) said: When you happen to meet such people tell them that I have nothing to do with them and they have nothing to do with me. And verily they are in no way responsible for my (belief). Abdullah ibn Umar swore by Him (the Lord) (and said): If any one of them (who does not believe in the Divine Decree) had with him gold equal to the bulk of (the mountain) Uhud and then, it (in the way of Allah), Allah would not accept it unless he affirmed his faith in Divine Decree. He further said: My father, Umar ibn al-Khattab, told me: One day we were sitting in the company of Allah’s Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) when there appeared before us a man dressed in pure white clothes, his hair extraordinarily black. There were no signs of travel on him. None amongst us recognized him. At last he sat with the Apostle (peace and blessings be upon him) He knelt before him placed his palms on his thighs and said: Muhammad, inform me about al-Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Al-Islam implies that you testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and you establish prayer, pay Zakat, observe the fast of Ramadan, and perform pilgrimage to the (House) if you are solvent enough (to bear the expense of) the journey. He (the inquirer) said: You have told the truth. He (Umar ibn al-Khattab) said: It amazed us that he would put the question and then he would himself verify the truth. He (the inquirer) said: Inform me about Iman (faith). He (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) replied: That you affirm your faith in Allah, in His angels, in His Books, in His Apostles, in the Day of Judgment, and you affirm your faith in the Divine Decree about good and evil. He (the inquirer) said: You have told the truth. He (the inquirer) again said: Inform me about al-Ihsan (performance of good deeds). He (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) said: That you worship Allah as if you are seeing Him, for though you don’t see Him, He, verily, sees you. He (the enquirer) again said: Inform me about the hour (of the Doom). He (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) remarked: One who is asked knows no more than the one who is inquiring (about it). He (the inquirer) said: Tell me some of its indications. He (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) said: That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and master, that you will find barefooted, destitute goat-herds vying with one another in the construction of magnificent buildings. He (the narrator, Umar ibn al-Khat hadithsha tab) said: Then he (the inquirer) went on his way but I stayed with him (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) for a long while. He then, said to me: Umar, do you know who this inquirer was? I replied: Allah and His Apostle knows best. He (the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) remarked: He was Gabriel (the angel, peace be upon him). He came to you in order to instruct you in matters of religion.

Sahih Muslim hadith 1

We should always seek to better ourselves! A true believer is one who strives to know his Lord, to please his Lord and strives to do good, leaving bad ways behind. The path of Islam isn’t just reading namaz (daily prayers), paying zakat/sadaqah (charitable contributions) and fasting during the month of Ramadan! Though these are of course, greatly beneficial and rewarding actions, when performed with pure intentions.

If we reflect upon the lives of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: We cannot fail to realise our tremendous shortcomings in comparison to them! They were true Muslims (obedient to God), true Mumins (believers) and true Muhsins (people of excellence). A Muhsin is a believer of such spiritual perfection, so deeply conscious of God, it’s as though they see God!

To this end, Tasawuf (Sufism) was developed by the early Muslims, the science of purification of the soul. Many people are unfortunately unaware of this reality of Islam, resulting in much confusion. Sufism can be traced back to the earliest days of Islam. Though not known by this label during the earliest years; as indeed many sciences of Islam weren’t; it’s not difficult to find strong evidence for the authenticity, of what later became known as Tasawuf or Sufism. Those who have a different interpretation, shouldn’t take this evidence lightly. After all, which is the more logical course of action for a Muslim to take: To follow authentic traditions from the earliest days of Islam, with evidences in the Holy Qur’an, Ahadith (narrations of the Prophet, pbuh), and the earliest literature of Islam; or modern ideologies no more than 200 years old?

Sufism was taught by the most respected companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and among the greatest scholars of Islam such as Caliph Abu Bakr As-Sadiq (may Allah accept him), Imam Ali (may Allah accept him), Salman Al Farsi (may Allah accept him), Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (may Allah accept him), Imam Malik (may Allah reward him), Imam Ghazali (may Allah reward him) and the list goes on… These are the very same people, who transmitted Islam on to future generations, without whom the teachings of Islam would have been lost in the midst of time.

One of these, Imam Malik, is reported to have said: “whoever studies Jurisprudence and didn’t study Sufism will be corrupted; and whoever studied Sufism and didn’t study Jurisprudence will become a heretic; and whoever combined both will reach the Truth.” [the scholar ‘Ali al-Adawi , vol. 2, p 195.]

See into the hearts of all. and you will see.. All are you. x

During your awakening you may find that you are becoming separate to others who's idea of the world is completely different to your own perceptions of it..The vibationary energy of lower and higher levels are creating this divide, splitting two types of human being upon this planet into two groups. Those of you vibrating on the lower levels of energy appear to insist that this is a terrible and evil world, many of you it appears will apply the violent actions of others to the word itself. You cannot seem to separate human action from the world you live. Those vibrating upon the higher energies will insist upon its wonder and its beauty, checking into nature and seeing its miracles.. Those that are not checking into the beauty of your world remaining on the lower frequency can easily become angry and frustrated with the loving presence of others unable to understand how they cannot see the hateful angry world as the reality, you might view others perceptions as an unreal fantasy, that they are dreaming and not awake to the world. It is the reality to those on a higher frequency that the material world that is the illusion, love and peace is the core reality within every human being, that the spiritual inner world is the reality, and that miracles do happen each and every day as you are each able to view the wonder of this wonderful landscapes and the pleasure of feeling the sun on your faces..That you are the miracle, that you have the intelligence to think and feel and be this evolved to understand your place within the universe and that your inner most dreams can be manifested into your reality since they are the reality in the making, Love and peace is the only truth. The peaceful loving being realises that within each heart and mind is a need for peace even within the hearts of those that have been brought up to experience nothing but violence anger and fear which has become a way of life for them, If religion is the way of those it can only serve to play a roll of connecting them back to peace.. No matter their roll in the material world, their intent and their innermost vibration is the only thing that matters. A belief in the power of prayer will take you back to God whatever you perceive him to be, back to love, back to peace back to truth. It does not matter how much you look upon others from an outside perspective, no matter how you might see another's religion when you are believing that your own way is the only way to peace whilst calling the other murderers and terrorists, you are failing to take a look at some your own thoughts.. The thoughts which tell you that world is violent because of those others with whom you choose to perceive as your enemy..This keeps you trapped on the lower energies and will never allow you to raise your vibration to a different dimension. In these thoughts you are creating your enemy. In voicing your anger and fear you separate yourself ever further from others failing to see their own need for a connection to peace just as you.. The world is not ruined by others without your own part in its creation, however small.. This is the reality, Your thoughts create your enemies, this is the reality . within the true depths of each man is a wish that the fighting and anger should stop.. Within the hearts and mind of each man woman and child upon this planet is the capability to reach out a hand in love and peace, and when each and every man is doing this, he himself will move into a new perspective, the one where he will also see that the world is beautiful. There is no separation between a Christian a Hindu, a Muslim a Jew or atheist. Each still has this same ultimate dream, no more war, no more having their homes threatened, no more soldiers pointing guns to children's heads, peace, love and richness within every heart and mind.. Yet as individuals each are not choosing to be this person they want others to be, they are choosing to separate themselves and remain on a lower vibration.

They are choosing not to be peaceful and loving, as they point the finger in blame at the way others worship, at their colour, at their race and at their differences, at how it is them not me that causes unrest, anger hatred fear war, creating more boundaries and more separation between he and they creating more reactionary response, causing others to follow suit and creating a separation which means that you either stand and fight, or leave.. It is such a shame that even on the lesser scale where it is not about war, but merely a disagreement that you that cannot love others of a different faith cannot see hypocritical state of your own mind as you continue to insist with angry heart that it is a violent angry world..Often its time to take a good long look in the mirror and see the creator of all that you view and all that you experience and perceive of the world and of people around you, that creator is you.

words of wisdom ...

"As long as human beings do not receive the light of initiaticScience to make them aware of what they lack, they can remaincontent with how they are. But as soon as they receive thislight, they are appalled, for they are forced to see they havewasted their time and energy on all sorts of useless or harmfulactivities. Then, all they want to do is close their eyes or runaway.Well, no, however discouraging the reality we discover may be,we must not close our eyes or run away, for it’s still better tosee clearly. If we refuse to accept reality, how can we improvesituations? You will say, ‘But we’ll suffer!’ Yes, but it’sbetter to suffer and be in the light. There is nothing to begained from remaining in illusions, for life is terrible: sometime or other it will force us to see reality, and the more wedelay, the more difficulties we will encounter."

~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov"

When you are faced with certain events and situations in life, you feel troubled and disorientated, and you no longer know whatto do. But not knowing what to do is no excuse for forsaking whatyou know to be the right path. On the contrary, then more thanever you must remain on the path. For, be under no illusions, life will never conform to your wishes and needs; it’s up to youto adopt the right attitude that will allow you to find thesolution to your difficulties, the cure for your suffering. There is no point in continually complaining and saying, ‘Whyare people like that? Do I really need this? Why is life sohard?’ No point in asking such questions. On the other hand, what you should be asking is, ‘How am I to understand what’shappening to me? How can I make use of it? How can I transformit and make it useful for my own evolution and the good ofothers?’ These are the questions you should be asking. It’s thenyou start moving forward, and whatever happens to you only servesto strengthen you. "

‘How am I to understand what’shappening to me? How can I make use of it? How can I transformit and make it useful for my own evolution and the good ofothers?
"Humans judge everything according to their own criteria; theydon’t see there are values they neglect and others they esteemtoo highly. This is why, in the eyes of cosmic Intelligence, human values are rarely true values.Take the case of education, which people generally set greatstore by. If you ask someone how much time it took them to gettheir degree, they’ll say three years, five years, or even moreif they’re a doctor, and that seems a long time. But if you wantto acquire virtues such as patience, kindness, generosity orwisdom, a few years are not enough; you need several centuries.Acquiring book knowledge is so much easier than developing moralqualities! When someone has these qualities, it is because theyhave worked for centuries to acquire them, so why underestimatethem?"

~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov"

The knowledge acquired from books provides us with building materials, with resources, so why not acquire it?But beware of the conclusions drawn by scholars and philosophers from all these materials they have had at their disposal. When they tell you after years of study and research that they have come to the conclusion that the universe is the work of chance, that there is no order in creation, that the soul and religion are inventions to be rejected, that life is absurd, that the earth is a battleground where each of us must fight tooth and nail not to be devoured by his neighbour, and so on… listen to them out of curiosity if you want, but do not let yourself be influenced by them. Over the centuries, how many times have the conclusions of scientists and philosophers changed! Why base your life on such unstable foundations? All the knowledge you can acquire must lead you toward God, toward an understanding of the meaning of life. Beware of all other conclusions. "

Listen to them out of curiosity if you want, but do not let yourself be influenced by them.
"You must do everything in your power to rise to greater and greater heights. In this you will always be perfectly within your rights, and no one can stop you. In fact this is the only absolute right that God has given us. Each time you take a step upwards, that is to say, each time you succeed in resisting a temptation, in conquering, or even transforming a weakness or a vice, orders go out automatically from heaven and an entity is sent to help you; you are given certain powers; your circumstances begin to improve. But it is not your business to see that these things happen. The only thing you have to do is overcome obstacles and difficulties by rising above them. All the rest will come automatically."

~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

"In daily life you are constantly solicited by all kinds of activities that represent temptations for you. They all seem really sensible and intelligent, but after a while, you notice that you have been very active without much result. This does not mean that you must be interested in nothing but the spiritual life; on the contrary you can be interested in everything, but on one condition: that you cling resolutely to a high ideal, a divine philosophy. If you hold on to a rope that is firmly attached, you can swing in all directions. But if the knot is not strong or if the rope is worn, you will fall and break your back. We should always come back to the importance of the link; this is what we must never forget: the link - the link with heaven."

.......but on one condition: that you cling resolutely to a high ideal, a divine philosophy.

Feelings of discontent can be compared to a substance we can work on and alter, but only if we do so before it solidifies and becomes too resistant. Let us take an image. You have carelessly put your feet into liquid cement, and you stand there thinking about something else. The cement begins to solidify and soon becomes so hard that you find yourself trapped. Someone will have to find tools to break it apart, and you risk being injured. Well, this is what happens in the inner life. If you do not quickly correct certain mistakes and shortcomings, soon it is too late: the repairs are very expensive and may lead to further damage."

~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov"

All living creatures, even animals, have an instinct allowing them to find a solution to their problems and a remedy for their pains. A sick animal, for instance, will instinctively find the plant which will cure it. And in many cases the instinct nature has given us also helps us human beings. But instinct alone is not enough. Instinct is a blind impulse belonging to the realm of the subconscious, and it is up to human beings to enlighten it and to bring it into consciousness. This instinct is a kind of intuition, but manifested in the lower regions, whereas true intuition belongs to the realms of the soul and the spirit. There is a great similarity, therefore, between instinct and intuition; in fact it is almost the same faculty, but manifested in two different regions. So, to help find the plant that will cure them, animals have a kind of intuition, or let us rather call it a flair, which has nothing to do with intelligence, knowledge, or consciousness. Whereas in evolved beings everything is conscious; they know." ~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

"Imagine you are on a beach by the sea. There, you stir the water with a small stick, creating swirls. Little by little, twigs, scraps of paper and corks begin to circle round. And soon, if you continue, small boats, then large ships, and finally the entire world begins to turn in the circle. The etheric ocean in which we are immersed is similar to this liquid ocean, and if we practise and persevere, by means of thought we can stir the entire world.Strive, therefore, to understand the few principles on which the spiritual life is based, in order to become conductors of the divine world, workers in the field of the Lord. By means of thought, maintain this inner movement unfailingly until all the particles of your being are mobilized in the realization of this luminous work you have undertaken – a work not only on yourself, but on all the creatures of the earth, and even beyond, on the entire universe."

~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

A human being is comparable to a bank. What does a bank do? It receives capital and then puts this capital to work. The more customers a bank does business with, the more prosperous it becomes. These exchanges presuppose the existence of a collectivity and a relationship with this collectivity. A bank attempting to work on its own would quickly fail.In the same way, people who refuse to live in contact with the collectivity deprive themselves of opportunities for exchanges and thus of ‘capital', and little by little they lose everything, even their own wealth. Initiates are wealthy because they know that all human beings carry hidden within them riches which must be discovered and exploited, so they make spiritual exchanges with the entire world. These exchanges never cease to bring them new ideas, new feelings, new sensations – means they use to accomplish their work." ~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

These exchanges never cease to bring them new ideas, new feelings, new sensations – means they use to accomplish their work."

"Appearances are often misleading: beauty can hide ugliness, wealth can hide poverty, and strength can hide weakness. The Hindu philosophy calls this deceptive appearance ‘maya', or illusion. The wise man is one who succeeds in piercing the veil of appearances to discover reality, and, once he has done so, endeavours to analyse his yearnings lucidly in the light of this reality. And often, when he understands the consequences that await him, he abandons his ambitions, and the pursuit of fortune, glory and pleasure. As long as we do not see, as long as we do not understand what ‘maya' is, we set out blindly, believing that we will find happiness and success, and instead we fall into traps. But once we see things in their true light, we become more careful; and we can then go forward, confident that we will not go astray." ~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov"

The most discouraging fact about human beings is that they accept the idea of a life of limitations. They consider weakness, sickness and unhappiness to be normal, because they cannot imagine that life could be otherwise. Of course we can never escape certain restrictions imposed on us by nature, but we can step back from these limitations and refuse to consider ourselves forever prisoners or victims. We can try to prolong our good states and good conditions, or delay the advent of negative situations, but in order to do so we must at least believe this is possible. Unfortunately, when you observe human beings you notice that they behave as if they were hypnotized, as if someone had drawn a line in front of them and forbidden them to cross it. And they truly believe they cannot cross it, that this restriction is the normal human state of affairs! But no! They do not know themselves; they are ignorant of all they possess – all the treasures and powers God has given them – so they stay bogged down in the same old place. So, from now on, human beings must push these limitations away so they may feel and touch the riches within them."

The most discouraging fact about human beings is that they accept the idea of a life of limitations.
"So many people want to work for honesty, for justice, for the good of humanity. But because they do not know how to go about it they gradually become discouraged and even sometimes end up hating the entire world. Is this an intelligent outcome? If you really want to work for the good of humankind you should begin by leaving people alone and you should focus solely on perfecting yourself. And then, the day will come when you become so enlightened that, when they see you, people will be moved to ask you to enlighten them, because they will see how miserable they are, and sense how bogged down they are in a quagmire. But do not then be tempted to go and deal with this quagmire, because if you plunge into the morass in order to purify it, you yourself will get bogged down. Work towards enlightenment so that, even without a word being said, your very presence will make others begin to understand they have lost their way, and they will ask you to guide them." ~Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov "The conditions of life rarely correspond to what you desire or hope for. But instead of complaining, of rebelling, or of becoming discouraged, you must reflect and ask yourself questions: why has heaven arranged for precisely these people, and not others, to surround you in your family, at work or elsewhere? You must learn to consider these difficult conditions from another perspective, and even if you do not understand them, strive to understand that they have meaning, that they have a reason for being. And the more incomprehensible it is, and contrary to what you hoped for, the more you must have confidence in heaven and tell yourself that this will lead to the realisation of your best aspirations. Even if you are suffering at the moment, after a while you will be strengthened and assuaged; your relations with others will improve, and you will sense that the good influences of this work affect your health as well."

Even if you are suffering at the moment, after a while you will be strengthened and assuaged; your relations with others will improve, and you will sense that the good influences of this work affect your health as well."

There is not a single person on earth to whom life has not brought a number of problems to resolve. This is why all sages agree on this point: life is the one true master. They themselves, of course, are able to teach others because they are highly evolved beings who have worked hard and suffered a great deal. They can therefore help others through their own experiences. But even these beings bear no comparison to the greatest teacher of all: life. And life is the master of the greatest sages, also.Human beings think they can control life and behave as they see fit, but it is life, on the contrary, which teaches them. It is from life, in fact, that they learn their most important lessons, because life knows precisely the point on which they need instruction. Whether it be on the physical, emotional, or intellectual plane, every fault, every weakness represents a lesson to be learned. And it is useless to try to play truant from ‘school', because sooner or later life catches up with us."

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov "

You’ll see intelligent, educated, sensitive, even idealisticpeople reduced to dragging members of their family before thecourts, all for wretched money matters. Could they not rise abit above all that? Why must they always cling to theirinterests, their possessions? My goodness, if each side wouldonly make a gesture they would all feel much freer! To beginwith, of course, they’ll find it difficult to make this gesture. But if they succeed, they will discover new regions inthemselves, new lights, and there will be no one prouder orhappier, because they will have achieved something verydifficult: they will have conquered their lower nature.People’s lower nature is constantly advising them to beegotistical, envious and vindictive. And then they think they’recapable of following a spiritual teaching! Well, no, they’re not. Those who wish to be worthy of the light of a spiritual teachingare no longer permitted to act like ordinary people."

Forgive him who wrongs you;
join him who cuts you off;
do good to him who does evil to you;
and speak the truth even if it be against yourself.

kindness

Dear Freiends

It is said that kindness is the greatest Wisdom,
And here`s a story to know how a single kind word travels..

Drop a PEEBLE in the water: just a splash, and it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on,
Spreading, spreading from the center,
flowing on out to the sea.
And there is no way of telling where the end is going to be..

Drop a PEEBLE in the water: in a minute you forget,
But there's little waves a-flowing,
and there's ripples circling yet,
And those little waves a-flowing
To a great big wave have grown;
You've disturbed a mighty river just by dropping in a stone.

Drop an UNKIND WORD, in a minute it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on.
They keep spreading, spreading..
spreading from the center as they go,
And there is no way to stop them,
Once you've started them to flow..

Drop an UNKIND WORD, or careless: in a minute you forget;
But there's little waves a-flowing,
and there's ripples circling yet,
And perhaps in some sad heart
A mighty wave of TEARS you've stirred,
And disturbed a life that was happy
As you dropped that unkind word.

Drop a WORD OF KINDNESS, just a flash and it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on and on,
Bearing hope and joy and comfort on each splashing,
dashing wave till you wouldn't believe the volume of
The one kind word you gave.

Drop a word of KINDNESS: in a minute you forget;
But there's gladness still a-swelling,
And there's joy circling yet,
And you've rolled a wave of comfort
whose sweet music can be heard
Over miles and miles of water
just by dropping one kind word..

I also believe that "Kindness is the greatest Wisdom"
and here are some Wisdom words on this subject :

* Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
~Mark Twain

* Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
~Plato

* The kindest word in all the world, is the unkind word unsaid...
~Author Unknown

* Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
~Leo Buscaglia

So don`t wait for people to be kind and friendly,
Just show them how...
and I`m sure you would..

Have an awesome weekend..

Addiction By Atif Hussain

The voices in my head
Screaming so loud I can't hear
Logic has long since fled
This chaos inside of me

It's like a drug I need
Coursing through my veins
Keeping me on high alert
Numbing me from anything else

The pain from your words stings
But at the same time I need it
Just to be able to understand

That I mean anything to you
It's like an addiction I can't break
I just keep coming back for more
Letting my heart suffer time and time again

The consequences evaporating
You tell me I'm worthless and

I believe you because I need to
In order to understand the fact

I'm just a human being
Imperfections make me beautiful
Or so I've heard sometimesI'd like to listen to you say those words

Of pure spite to help remind meI have sinned by being human
For this I deserve to be remindedOf all the imperfections that made meInto the person I am today

life..

My life a stage and I a puppet,
Strings in the hand of fate— the authority,
The fingers play with the chains of life,
And I walk on my path to destiny,

The hand pulls the strings and I,
Resist it; deny it, with virility,
I cry, I yell, I rebel, I plea,

I withdraw again helplessly,
And the magma erupts within,
To break the chains vehemently,
Desire to steal the forbidden joys,

My hands are cut mercilessly,
The chains tighten and pull me,
Oscillate me in kingdoms of ecstasy, agony,
Crushing my feelings, slaughtering my dreams,

I fall a victim to infinite vagaries.
I shout at the hand that reigns,
Bleeding, I ask for a moment of mercy,
Visible to me is than my decree,

My life captured by catalepsy….

the eye..

The eye is always associated in traditional cultures with light and spiritual perceptions. According to ancient beliefs, the eye was not a passive receiver of light, but rather a source of light.

It is believed that such was the power of the eye that certain creatures would have magical powers in their eyes. It is the case of Medusa in Greek mythology that would petrify anyone that would look at her. In Ancient Ireland, Balor, the king of Fomorians,, would use in the battlefields his bad eye against his enemies.

This belief in the bad eye gave rise in many cultures, especially Mediterranean ones, to many amulets supposed to protect people. The positive connotation of the eye is nevertheless wider and thus the eye is associated with knowledge and by extension with the power of foresight.

But the access to this type of vision – that goes beyond the mere appearance of things - is usually achieved by the sacrifice of this very organ.

The wise man Tiresias, Apollo’s priest, was blind. The Scandinavian God Odin also gives one of his eyes to the Giant Mimir for knowledge.

In Christianity the All Seeing Eye of God is represented inside the sun of a pyramid – which means that God sees all everywhere and always.
I asked this week to friends to stare a blank wall – what do you see?

In my case, I’m used to stare to a blank wall or a candle – but I don’t try to empty my mind because this is impossible. I rather try to follow my train of thought on what happens inside of me and I’m not entirely conscious. When I wrote the post on staring at the blank wall, I remember I was trying to think about songs, then about the name of the artist, at the same time I was thinking about of the plumber that had to show up in order to fix something in the house. Then I started to thinking about useless things and then I felt like having a coffee – but I still had two minutes to go. So these two minutes took an eternity and then I tried to make time run faster. This is when I get distracted and think about nothing. Then, all of the sudden, you realize that three minutes of your life have passed.Having said that - meditation is quite interesting. If you do that every day, for only three minutes, if you relax and try to calm yourself by starring at a blank wall or candle, or even closing your eyes and say to yourself “I can spend 10 minutes of my life in silence”

then you will see how things will improve. Because you unconscious mind goes to your conscious mind and somehow you start having intuitions that once were buried and now you can see.

Rainin..

my moment of solitude, this moment of rain,
silence ventriloquist, and the initial aroma,
touches the earth, with love and ardour,
the fragrance that dwells in this divine aqua,

I envisage at the splenduour of God’s envision,
this drizzle, this rejoice, the freshness, the culmination,
frankinsence of love, the ecstasy imprisoned,
soaking in rain, profundity of my imagination,
this night so dark, yet so brilliant, so effulgent,
luminiscent my soul, an emblem of glee,
the trees that embrace, this state of seduction,
the mystical liberty, mythical, the sense to be free,
I am immersed in rain, wash my torments,
falling on my self, playin with the air–fragrant,
wash my sins, subject my sighs to erosion,
erotic prognostication, majestic navigation,

a wolrd of merry, delightful predicitons,
travelling with this rain, to a zone of oblivion,
abone these shrines, this earth, domains of agination,
to a world of joys, radiance, self satisfaction.

I weep for Mumbai in the wake of the horror, and for Baghdad and Kabul, for Gaza and Jerusalem, for Karachi and Kashmir and Kosovo. Tears fall like rain for Darfur, Burma, North Korea, Tibet, Nigeria, Somalia, Congo, Zimbabwe. Where there is terror, imprisonment, torture, war, murder, genocide, rape, disease, poverty, and famine, how can anyone be at peace in the world?
Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly, now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.- The Talmud
Perhaps to be just, loving, merciful, generous, kind, and to walk with humility in spirit, is the beginning of the solution, one person at a time, for as long as we are able. Little by little, the enormity of the world’s grief will diminish, and slowly, slowly the spirit of loving-kindness, the spirit of God, will spread and rise in the heart of His creation. This ordinary work may not be completed in our lifetime, or in our children’s or grand-children’s lifetimes, but if we continue to teach the next generation, and they the one after them, to paraphrase Dr. King, justice will indeed flow like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Imam Shafi' said, "All humans are dead except those who have knowledge ... and all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds ... and those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere ... and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry."

The problems and worries besetting Muslims often seem so enormous, complex and inter-connected that there just does not seem any way out. Solutions offered by experts and well-meaning people seem sketchy or impractical. Still, the range and enormity of our problems is no excuse for inaction. Staying paralyzed is no way to conquer the tall mountain looming ahead. We have to start scaling the mountain the only way we can one step at a time. Every step, however small, however simple, is one step closer to the goal, InshaAllah. What is the one small step we could take to restore faith in the universal principle of justice for all and in creating an environment that not only treats everyone with respect & dignity but offers equal safety and protection? In the aftermath of recent mayhem in US, Afghanistan & the ongoing slaughter in the Occupied Lands of Palestine & Pakistan, these are concerns that mock us, fears that agitate us, despair that threatens us all. One solution, and it is not "the" solution, is small and a simple one, "a heart that feels for all".When the world becomes a seething cauldron of blood and hate, conscientious people must lead the voice of justice and reason and uphold the timeless rule of "speak the truth". This must be done not to demonstrate valor, but as a matter of duty. Our allegiance is only to the One Creator of all, and our duty is to "proclaim the good and forbid the evil". Far from being rewarded for proclaiming good and forbidding evil, one must expect punishments from detentions to life threats. The degenerated culture of double-standards justify baseless accusations and secret detentions to those calling for justice and reason. And when these honorable people are detained or threatened, we again respond with our predictable insouciance and without an outrage. Why? Why cannot we, the so-called enlightened citizens, erect a wall of protest making it impossible for expedient politicians to push through such arbitrary and unjust laws? The way politicians today blatantly use and abuse the constituents as lackeys is appalling. Even worse is the brazen impunity with which the injustices are done and without any accountability. If citizens do not band themselves into vigorous, active lobbies to stop such offensive actions of the political establishment, legal bandits also known as armed agents will be at your doorstep soon. The biggest mistake is to assume bad things happen to other people in other places. If this curse is not stopped today, tomorrow it will be stones smashing through your window, your daughter's being handcuffed or shot at and your son being bulldozed alive. There will not be a Suraida Saleh or a Mohammad Durra (may their souls rest in peace) to save you because when they were being kicked out and shot at, you did nothing.Humanity's greatest strength is that despite much that goes wrong in the world, the glimmers of hope lies in your action and not in-action!

May Allah fill our hearts with the Nur of Muhammad(SAW)

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Every creature has a heart. In reality though they are two hearts, a heart that is alive and pulsating with the light of faith. It is filled with intense conviction and God-consciousness. The other is a dead heart, covered and diseased with every wreckage and rubbish.

Allah Almighty says concerning the hearts of the foolish folk:'In their hearts is disease, and so God lets their disease increase' (2:10).'

But they say, "Our hearts are already full of knowledge." Nay, but God has rejected them because of their refusal to acknowledge the truth: for, few are the things in which they believe' (2:88).

Allah also says:'Will they not, then, ponder over this Quran? - or are there locks upon their hearts?' (47:24).'

And so they say, [as it were:] "Our hearts are veiled from whatever thou callest us to, [O Muhammad,] and in our ears is deafness"' (41:5).

From all these verses we learn that the hearts can become ill, they can be covered, locked and they die. The enemies of Allah have hearts in their bosoms but they do not perceive with these hearts. Hence the Prophet saws used to say:'O dispenser of hearts make my heart firm in Your religion.'

The heart of the believer fasts during Ramadan and outside of Ramadan. The fasting of the heart is done by emptying it of all corrupt material such as destructive forms of polytheism, false beliefs, evil suggestions, filthy intentions and degenerate thoughts. The heart of the believer is adorned with the love of Allah. It knows its Lord by His names and His qualities as He has described Himself. This heart explores with a discerning eye the lines of His names and qualities and the pages of Allah's making in the universe and the books of His creations.

The believer's heart is filled with a brilliant light which does not allow any darkness to remain with it. It is the light of the eternal message, the divine teachings, and the omnipotent laws. To it is added the natural light upon which the servants of Allah were created. Thus two great lights come together.'

Light upon light! God guides unto His light him that wills [to be guided]; and [to this end] God propounds parables unto men, since God [alone] has full knowledge of all things' (24:36).

The believer's heart glows like a lamp, shines like the sun and sparkles like the morning light. It increases in faith whenever the believer listens to the verses of the Quran, it grows in conviction when it contemplates, and increases in guidance when it reflects. The believer's heart abstains from pride because it breaks its fast. Pride does not reside in the heart of a believer because it is unlawful. The abode and dwelling place of pride is the heart. Hence, if it enters any heart, that person will become afflicted, foolish, arrogant and frivolous.

Allah says in a hadith Qudsi: 'Pride is my upper garment and grandeur is my lower one, whoever contests with me for them I will punish him.'

The Prophet(pbuh) himself said:'Whoever shows arrogance to Allah, He will humble him, and whoever is humble to Allah, He will raise him in station.

'The heart of the believer fasts and abstains from egotism. Egotism is when the individual sees himself as perfect, better than others and in possession of good qualities that are not found in anyone else. This is destruction in its most naked form.

The Prophet(pbuh) said:'Three things which are totally destructive: a person's self-centredness and conceit, his reluctance to obey and his following of his desires.'

The cure for this self-importance is to look at one's own faults, one's many shortcomings, thousands of sins and misdeeds that one has committed, wrongs that one has done and forgotten but the knowledge of which are with Allah in a book. For Allah is not led astray nor does He forget.

The heart of the believer fasts and abstains from envy because it lowers righteous deeds, puts out the light of the heart and stops its progress toward Allah the Most High. Allah says in the Glorious Quran:'Do they, perchance, envy other people for what God has granted them out of his bounty? (4:54).And the Prophet(pbuh) said:'Do not envy one another; do not inflate prices one to another; do not hate one another; do not turn away from one another; and do not undercut one another.'

The Prophet(pbuh) informed one of his companions three times that he would be among the people of Paradise. When he was asked about what was it that earned him a place in Paradise, the man said:'I do not sleep with envy, grudge or deceit in my heart for any Muslim.'Are there any hearts that would, therefore, fast like the learned.

The fast of the learned has a yearning for the Most Merciful Lord of the worlds. Their hearts fast at all times and in the early hours of morning they seek forgiveness.

the value of time...

Islam is a religion based on revelation that deems the human being nothing less than the vicegerent of God. The work of the world never ends, and one’s obligations are greater than the time allotted to fulfil them. For this reason, Muslim jurists hesitated to condone anything that wasted one’s time without benefit, other than acts that the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) had clearly said are useful: playing with one’s spouse, spending time with one’s children and family, and engaging in sports that displayed martial valour and character, such as horsemanship, archery, swimming, and swordplay.

Nevertheless, the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) enjoyed life and encouraged others to do so. During festive times, such as holidays and wedding ceremonies, he (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) encouraged entertainment, including singing. According to Imam al-Bukhari (ra) in his al-Tareekh, the Prophet’s (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) companions (ra) once had a food-fight with the leftover rinds of watermelon. The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) also witnessed a food-fight among the womenfolk of his household and laughed heartily. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) listened to his companions talk about their silliness before Islam and to their stories about the foolish things they did without reason and would laugh until his molars showed. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) joked but always told the truth. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) was not a prude, nor was he a puritan who did not appreciate human weakness and folly. Far from fanaticism, he (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) despised extremism and zealotry, and loved gentleness and compassion, even with his enemies.

He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) was a lion on the battlefield, but once the battle was over and the day won, he showed immense magnanimity that overwhelmed even his worst enemies. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) took life seriously and warned us not to spend our lives in vain pursuits. He reminded us that while laughter has its place, it should not become such a central part of our lives that we fail to recognize the gravity of life and the misery in which many less fortunate people live. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) smiled much of the time and hence was called “the smiling one”. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) said, “To smile in the face of your brother is charity.”

The Prophet’s (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) statements about such things as playing backgammon reflect his seriousness and concern for his community. He (Sallallahu alayhi wasalam) reminded us that, “Most of humanity cheat themselves of two precious things: good health and leisure.” Leisure in Arabic is faragh, which means “emptiness.” It is the time one is free of preoccupation. Most of us fill that time with trivial pursuits, such as watching television, listening to music, playing games, and engaging in empty chatter. Before we know it, our lives are gone. Our seconds become minutes, our minute’s hours, our hour’s days, and our day’s years, until suddenly we find that our lives are over, and what have we accomplished?

“By time, surely humanity is in loss except those who believe and do good works, and enjoin each other to the truth and to patience.”

This Surah reminds us that time is our treasure - each minute is irreplaceable, and either we invest it in the next life or squander it here in an inevitable progression toward spiritual bankruptcy. The scholars of the past, more than others, understood the precious value of time.

Islam is not a harsh religion, nor a religion that deprives people of enjoyment, but it is a religion that demands a level of seriousness, commitment, and concern with the human condition. We should use our time to better ourselves and improve conditions for others, and this does not exclude utilizing our time for recreation and renewal. We all need “downtime time” to relax and restore ourselves for the challenges of life and the preparation for the next life. Games, recreation, fun, folly, silliness, and vacations all have their place in our lives, but the tragedy occurs when those activities become the purpose of our lives, and the true purpose of life is entirely missed. Our efforts are directed towards recreation: we work to play, believing that the week is only an excuse for the weekend.

The world is filled with people who are “killing time,” completely unaware that time is actually killing us. One day, we will wake up and have to face our lives in their entirety. According to Imam al-Awzai (d. 157/774), everyone will watch their lives from start to finish on the Day of Judgment. No one will be allowed to interrupt to edit or to explain. What we watch will simply be a rerun of our entire lives, yet this time around, we will be painfully aware of the meaning that eluded us the first time because we were not paying attention.

If playing chess once concerned the scholars of Islam, what would they say to us today about our habits of watching television, channel hopping and films and cinema and playing videogames, about our endless conversations on mobile phones and on-line chatting, or about the hours that we spend surfing the net and reading empty blogs written by people with little to say and less to do? Our scholars’ concern was our salvation and well-being, and while Muslims today may see them as zealous or fanatics, on the Day the Debts fall due and we are taken to account for every moment of our lives, those scholars will be seen for the giants they were, and their counsel to us will be a bitter taste of remorse in our mouths.

who are you...

Truth,lies
Thoughts, tears.
Scares, fears.

All revealed.

I can't believe you're doing this to me,
Throwing me out on the streets,
Ridding me of the only home I've ever know;
You're not the One I once knew.

I will miss you,
I will cry,

And I'll even wish I was home,

But I'll never look back.
You marked the line,
And then you crossed it.

You even walked a mile passed it;
You broke the rules.

Who's left for me now,
Who do I turn to?
Who'll take me in,
And shelter me from the storm?

The storm you put over me,
The one that ruined me.

Yeah
I'm gone, I'm dead.

Have been gone & dead for years.

But of course,

Who are you to even notice?

10 Rules for Being Human
by Cherie Carter-Scott

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.”

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately “work.”

4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.

6. “There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.”

7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

10. You will forget all this.

Be aware of your own worth,
use all of your power to achieve it.
Create an ocean from a dewdrop.
Do not beg for light from the moon,
obtain it from the spark within you.

_Aallma Muhammad Iqbal.

Introduction...

Asalamoalikum,
wel i am a man of imagination because my mind is hungry to know more and more , me myself not burdened by the idea of failure or impossibility. i am someone who cares about the inward more than the outward but realizes that what is percieved is a reflection of that which is imperceptible. I'm relatively crazy and love crazy people.

That having been said there is nothing or very very little in this world that is mundane. I always seek people who transcend their own limitations and attain to greatness yet know that sometimes dwelling in the situation that fate/destiny/karma has put one in is itself a means of transcendence.

Transcendence = Trance + Dance

Who I'd like to meet: People who are intelligent and perceptive. People with hearts of gold and intellects of mercury. Im tired of people who have mediocre spirits. Everyone has an amazing potential and its time we realize what our destinies are.

within myself i roamed in a whole universe from east to west but could not find a place to rest nor did i find any human being i perturbed with neither any being who would hearken to my mind.

I always try to find the true revelation and for that must be choose reason, because its a doorway to revelation , man must open his mind and his intellect to find higher truth.

Have a thought that God shows himself to man through ideas. As thr same time when i got or blessed with these feelings , me became speechless and struck and filled with euphoria to hear this wisdom and truth, whenever i met to light of truth, the shadow of my being follows me but the shadow of my spirit precedes me and lead the way to unknown places seeking things beyond my understanding and grasping objects that are meaning less to me.i used to talk less or avoiding idle talking but most of time people consider these idle words being part of relationships way.

I am stranger until white and friendly wings of death carry me home into my beautiful abode, where light and peace and understanding abide and will wait for friends who are also be able to rescued by friendly trap of time from the narrow , dark world , the world off all the deception and illusion.
